Update...

Hello to all,
I just wanted to get a real quick update on the MFI situation here. Please keep them in prayer. Today we have 2 groups of passengers flying out on two different airplanes. One is a charter, the other is a commercial flight, with seats purchased. Then we have another plane coming in with only three boxes of cargo, but they will take all the baggage from the chartered plane on their plane. It should be a real fun day, but that's just life in Haiti. We will work through all of this, but MFI sure can use a lot of uplifted prayers for the situation there.

I shared at English church, here on Sunday. God spoke to my heart that we need to be praising Him, and not concentrating on our problems. So, the songs we sang and the scripture I read, all centered on praise. This has all come about after reading a book my sister-in-law shared with me back in December. The book, "90 Minutes In Heaven" by Don Piper, tells his story of being dead for 90 minutes, and spending that time in heaven. Everything there was centered on praising God. (If you haven't read the book, it's awesome!!) But that is what the Lord has been working on, in my heart since I read it.

I decided to share one huge praise with you, since I am now centering on praise... we received some photos of one of our "heart babies", that is with her family in Pennsylvania. Oh, for those of you who do not know what our "heart babies" are, over a ten year period we took in infants who were either abandoned or their mother died in child birth and there was no family to be found. Most of those precious babies were adopted out. Five went to the US, one to Canada, one to Argentina, and three are still here in Haiti. Anyway, back to the pictures... Rachel was our third "heart baby". Don said if we had kept her one more week, we would not have let her go. We had her 19 months. But God had other plans for her. She went to her new mom and dad and was raised in such a loving Christian
home. And she is REALLY, REALLY something to be proud of. She will graduate this year and head on to college. God has had His hands on this beautiful gal for all these years. We may be prejudiced, but isn't she a beauty??? So, YES, she is a praise item, and so are her parents. They have done a phenomenal job of raising this wonderful young lady!!!Well, time to leave for the airport. You all have a really blessed day in the Lord. And remember, PRAISE HIM every day for what He has done for you!!!
