The work goes on

Another of "one of those days".  We sorted and divided a LOT of the Christmas Bags, and then many of those who were to receive them came and got them.  We received a total of 8641 Christmas Bags, and today we sorted and distributed 6190.  We have a bit more to get out, but it will go quickly.  I've put two photos of two of those who picked them up.  Both of them were from out in the countryside.  Everyone who showed up was really happy to get the bag so they can be given out.

While we worked on that, Larry and Bob were busy working on the gate.  When Bob finished the welding on the one side of the doors, he had to have help turning that VERY HEAVY door over, so he can finish up the welding on the other side.  Prayerfully it will be hung on Monday.  What a blessing today was for everyone.

Not a long post, but wanted to share some of our joy with everyone.  God is working mightily in so many ways here.  Keep praying, God is at work.

Spent a little time catching up on the blog since I haven't had a chance to read it for a few weeks. So glad to see the gate is coming along, that things have seemingly died down for the time being, and that you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Years! I continue to pray for you all so much and Jenny keeps me pretty updated (through Stan!) on what is going on down there even when I can't access the blog. I so much enjoyed coming down in August for KidsFest and on Orchard Hill's October trip. I look forward to coming down again at some point this year and visiting with you all again!
